ZayTech turns public WiFi into an advertising channel. It needed more developers and skills to build the platform behind it — Acube supplied the team.

When someone connects to WiFi in a café, a mall or an airport, the first thing they see is a login page. For a WiFi advertising business, that page is the product: an advertiser's message shown at the moment of connection, a dashboard where the advertiser runs the campaign, tools for the venue that hosts the hotspot, and the numbers that prove it all worked. Each part is its own piece of software.
That was the platform ZayTech, a WiFi advertising company in Dubai, was building. ZayTech needed developers and skills it didn't have in-house.
Acube provided a team of three or more developers working on ZayTech's platform: captive-portal login pages, an advertiser dashboard, venue and hotspot management, and analytics and reporting. The platform launched and grew. The engagement started before 2019.

ZayTech's platform had several connected parts, and building them took more people and skills than it had.
The cost of staying as-is: an advertising platform that can't ship features can't sign advertisers — and venues won't host hotspots that earn them nothing.
A team working across the parts of a WiFi advertising platform.
| Capability | What it gives you |
|---|---|
| 3+ developers | A team sized to the platform's needs. |
| Captive-portal login pages | The branded page or ad a visitor sees before the WiFi connects. |
| Advertiser dashboard | Advertisers create campaigns and see their reports. |
| Venue / hotspot management | Venues manage the hotspots they host. |
| Analytics & reporting | Impressions, logins and audience data, reported back. |
ZayTech didn't give us a measured figure, so we are not quoting one. The outcome it named:
A WiFi advertising platform serves three audiences at once: the visitor who sees the login page, the advertiser who pays for it, and the venue that hosts the hotspot. Each needs its own part of the product — captive portals, an advertiser dashboard, hotspot management — and all three depend on the analytics that tie them together.
A team working across every part could build them so they fit, rather than one part waiting on another. That is the capacity ZayTech needed and didn't have, and the platform launched and grew. Acube has been in business since 2011, and 70% of our work comes by referral.
A development team like ZayTech's is worth considering when:
user-facing pages, dashboards, admin tools, analytics.
You need more developers than you have.
Your platform needs skills your team doesn't cover.
You're building a product that serves more than one kind of customer.
You'd rather add a team than hire one person at a time.
If that's you, start with the parts of your platform and who each one serves. That sets the team's shape.
