ExpectA wholesale customer gets the wholesale price, whatever the quantity.
DoesA Packing Unit on the price means a quantity that is not a multiple of it gets no rate at all.
ExpectNo price in the customer’s list? It falls back to the standard price.

ExpectSelling by the box needs a price per box.

Left out to keep it readable
It uses the customer’s Default Price List. If the customer has none, it uses the customer group’s. If neither is set, it uses the Default Price List in Selling Settings.
No Item Price in that price list matched the line: wrong UOM, another customer’s price, a date outside Valid From and Valid Up To, or a Packing Unit the quantity is not a multiple of. Add the price, or tick “Use prices from Default Price List as fallback” in Selling Settings.
Yes. An Item Price with the Customer field set is used for that customer before the general price in the same list.
The price list gives the line its starting rate. Pricing rules then apply discounts or set a rate on top of it.
