A film finishes post-production and the question is the same one every time: where does it go now? Onto someone else's platform, on someone else's terms, behind someone else's paywall — and the audience that watched it stays their audience, not yours. You never learn who pressed play, how far they got, or what they wanted next. Meanwhile the pirated copy is on a messaging group within a day of release.
Logos Films is an audio-visual production company working across cinema, television and digital media. They had a growing library of original films and episodic content, and a growing appetite from viewers for it — but no direct route to those viewers. They wanted a branded OTT platform for direct-to-consumer streaming: their name on the app icon, their content behind their own secure player, their own numbers on the back end.
Acube Innovations built it — a Flutter-powered OTT platform running as a single codebase across Android and iOS, with DRM-secured playback, offline downloads, multi-profile accounts and an admin dashboard reporting what the audience watches. The apps cleared review and shipped to both Google Play and the Apple App Store, fully store-compliant, with updates deploying cleanly to both. The platform is delivered and awaiting launch — Logos Films has not yet taken it live to viewers.

original films and episodic series with growing demand, and no branded destination to stream them from.
seamless playback was needed on both Android and iOS, without paying twice to build and maintain it.
a real commercial risk for a production house whose entire asset is the content itself.
viewers on patchy mobile data or long commutes simply couldn't watch, which quietly caps reach.
nothing to tell the team which titles held attention, where people dropped off, or how the app itself performed.
publishing to Google Play and the Apple App Store means meeting two sets of review rules for a media app, including content protection. > The cost of staying as-is: every release routed through someone else's platform is a release whose audience you never get to keep. The relationship, the watch data and the next film's launch plan all stay on the other side of the wall.
A complete OTT platform, designed around how a production house actually releases and protects content — then built once in Flutter so both app stores stay in step.
| Capability | What it gives you |
|---|---|
| Cross-platform Flutter apps | One codebase for Android and iOS — identical UI/UX on both, faster development cycles, and one place to fix or improve anything. |
| Custom video player integration | A high-performance, Flutter-compatible player handling both on-demand (VOD) titles and live streams, tuned for smooth playback. |
| DRM-secured delivery | Digital Rights Management on the content pipeline, so titles are protected in transit and at rest — piracy risk reduced at the source, not policed after the fact. |
| Offline viewing & caching | Viewers download selected titles and watch without a connection, with robust caching and resume-where-you-left-off. |
| User profiles & permissions | Secure login, multiple profiles per account and permission controls — individual viewer tracking plus parental controls on a family account. |
| Admin dashboard | The team uploads content, configures categories and manages the catalogue themselves — no developer in the loop for a release. |
| Viewer & performance analytics | Views, watch-time and app performance tracked and reportable, so programming decisions rest on evidence rather than instinct. |
| App-store deployment | Published to Google Play and the Apple App Store with full compliance, and a clean path for ongoing updates. |
| Performance optimisation | Playback streamlined and load times reduced through profiling, so the stream starts fast and stays smooth. |

The platform was built, tested and shipped to both app stores — and is awaiting launch. Logos Films has not taken it live to an audience yet, so there are no viewing, subscriber or revenue figures to report, and we are not going to imply otherwise.
What exists is a complete, working product: DRM-protected streaming, offline downloads, on-demand and live content support, user authentication and profiles, an admin dashboard for content and analytics, and native builds for both iOS and Android from one Flutter codebase.
The value of that is optionality. A production house that owns its distribution does not have to accept a platform's terms, its cut, or its recommendation algorithm — and it keeps the relationship with its viewers rather than renting it. That option now exists for Logos Films whenever the business chooses to use it, and the architecture behind it is built to carry live events, new series and monetisation features when it does.
We mapped the release workflow — how a title gets uploaded, categorised, protected and published — before writing the app, which is why the admin dashboard fits the team rather than the other way round.
Flutter wasn't a fashion choice. For a two-store consumer app maintained by a small team, a single codebase is the difference between shipping updates and postponing them.
DRM, secure authentication and permission controls were designed into the delivery path from the start — retrofitting content protection after launch is far harder and far leakier.
Ongoing maintenance and performance optimisation are part of the engagement, because a streaming app is judged every single time someone presses play.

Yes — that is exactly what we did for Logos Films. A single Flutter codebase produced both the Android and iOS apps with consistent UI/UX, and both passed store review and went live. It also means one fix, one update, both stores.
We integrate DRM into the delivery pipeline so content is protected rather than served as an open file, and we pair it with secure authentication and permission controls on every account. It is not a promise that piracy disappears, but it removes the easy routes and raises the cost of the hard ones.
Yes. Logos Films' apps support downloading selected content for offline viewing, with caching and resume functionality so a partially watched title picks up where the viewer left off — which matters enormously on patchy mobile data.
Your team manages it. The admin dashboard lets you upload content, configure categories, manage the catalogue and pull reports on views and watch-time without touching code or raising a ticket.
The player was integrated to support both on-demand VOD and live streams, and the architecture was built to carry live events as they are added. If live is central to your plans, we scope the streaming and delivery layer around that from day one.
No. The platform was architected to be extended — new content series, live events and monetisation features were anticipated in the design rather than bolted on. We would scope monetisation as a phase, not a rewrite.
