Registrations on paper and WhatsApp, fees chased by hand, fixtures in group chats. Unicorn Cricket Club moved all of it onto one web platform.
Free, no-obligation consult — just a real person.

Client

A cricket club is run by volunteers with day jobs. Someone collects the fees, someone puts the fixtures together, someone keeps the scores, and someone organises the tournament every season. When all of that lives on paper and in WhatsApp groups, nobody can say at a glance who has paid, which team plays when, or how the table stands.
That was the situation at Unicorn Cricket Club in Dubai, where registrations were handled on paper and over WhatsApp.
Acube built the club a web platform covering fee collection and dues, fixtures, teams and scores, and tournament registration. Fees are now tracked, and matches are organised in one place. The project was delivered before 2019.

The club's administration ran on the tools everyone already had — which meant nothing was in one place.
The cost of staying as-is: a club that tracks fees in a chat thread spends its committee meetings working out who has paid, instead of planning the season.
A web platform for the jobs a club committee does every season.
| Capability | What it gives you |
|---|---|
| Fee collection & dues | Payments recorded, and who still owes is clear. |
| Fixtures & teams | Matches and team line-ups kept in one place. |
| Scores | Results recorded against each fixture. |
| Tournament registration | Teams enter tournaments through the platform. |
| Web-based | The committee and members use it in a browser. |
The club didn't give us member or team numbers, so we are not quoting any. Two things changed:
Who has paid, and who hasn't, is clear.
Fixtures, teams and scores live on the platform instead of in group chats.
The platform puts the club's two recurring jobs — money and matches — in the same place. Fees and dues are recorded against members, so the treasurer no longer reconstructs them from messages. Fixtures, teams and scores are recorded against matches, so the season's record is one page, not a scroll through a chat history.
Tournament registration completes the picture: teams enter through the platform, so the organiser starts each tournament with a list rather than a stack of messages. As a web platform, it needed nothing installed — the volunteers who run the club could use it from wherever they were. Acube has been in business since 2011, and 70% of our work comes by referral.
A platform like Unicorn Cricket Club's is worth considering when:
Fees are tracked in a notebook or a chat group.
, and nobody has the full record.
Tournament entries arrive in several places at once.
, and the records need to outlive it.
and need something simple they can open in a browser.
If that sounds like your club, start with your season: how members join and pay, how fixtures are set, and how tournaments are entered.
