A coaching centre can only teach as many students as its classrooms hold — and only those who can reach them. CC Education took its teaching online.

Coaching works on attendance. A student preparing for an entrance exam or a PSC test has to be in the room when the class happens, collect the notes on paper or in a WhatsApp group, and sit tests the centre has to set, print and mark by hand. A student who lives too far away simply can't join.
That was the position at CC Education, a coaching and tuition centre in Kerala preparing students for entrance exams (NEET, JEE and KEAM), government and PSC exams, and professional and skill courses. Teaching was classroom-only, the centre couldn't reach students further away, study material went out on paper or WhatsApp, and there was no proper way to test students and track their progress.
Acube built CC Education an online learning platform — on the web, Android and iOS, with an admin panel for teachers. Students watch recorded classes, attend live classes, take online tests and mock exams, download notes and material, and pay online. Students now learn from anywhere, more students enrolled, the material sits in one place, and every student's progress is tracked. The platform was delivered before 2019.

CC Education's teaching was good. The limit was where it could happen and how it was managed.
Students could learn only when they were physically in the centre.
Anyone outside travelling distance was out of reach.
Notes and tests were handed out or shared in groups, with no single place to find them.
Running tests and following each student's performance was hard to do by hand.
The cost of staying as-is: a coaching centre that teaches only in its own rooms competes only for students who live nearby — while its best teaching could serve anyone preparing for the same exam.
A complete online learning platform: what students use to learn, and what teachers use to run it.
| Capability | What it gives you |
|---|---|
| Web, Android and iOS | Students learn on whatever they have — a laptop, an Android phone or an iPhone. |
| Recorded classes | Video lessons students can watch on demand, and watch again before an exam. |
| Live classes | Online sessions taught in real time. |
| Online tests & mock exams | Tests taken on the platform, with results recorded against each student. |
| Notes & study material | Material downloaded from one place instead of passed around. |
| Online payment | Students pay for courses inside the platform. |
| Teachers' admin panel | Staff upload classes, material and tests themselves. |
CC Education didn't give us a student count, so we are not quoting one. Four things changed:
Teaching is no longer limited to the classroom.
Enrolment grew after the platform launched.
Notes and tests are organised on the platform, not scattered across paper and groups.
Test results show how each student is doing.
Every part of the platform answers one of the four problems. Recorded and live classes remove the classroom limit. Web and mobile apps let distant students join on the device they already own. One library of notes and tests replaces paper and WhatsApp groups. Online tests produce the per-student results that were impossible to keep by hand.
The teachers' admin panel keeps the centre in charge of its own content — new classes and tests go up without waiting for a developer — and online payment lets a student who finds the course online enrol online. Acube supported the platform for a period after launch. We have built learning apps for other coaching businesses too — see Competitive Cracker — and 70% of our work comes by referral.
An online learning platform like CC Education's is worth considering when:
, and students further away can't join.
, and students lose track of them.
leaves you with little view of each student's progress.
, not only at the counter.
, without technical help.
If several of those apply, the useful first step is to list what a student does in a week with you — attend, read, test, pay — and decide which of those should move online first.
See what it would cost — Answer a few plain questions about how you work, and see a real figure.
