Uh La La was a new grocery business with no platform. Acube built its customer app, web store, rider app and admin — and it launched on app and web.
Free, no-obligation consult — just a real person.

Before an online grocer can deliver anything, it needs the whole machine: an app and a website for customers to order on, a way to get each order to a rider, delivery slots customers can choose, tracking so they know where their order is, and a back office for the team. A new business has to have all of it on day one.
That was the starting point for Uh La La Online Grocery, an online grocery start-up in North India. It was a new business with no platform.
Acube built Uh La La a customer app (on Android), a web store, a delivery / rider app and an admin dashboard, with delivery slots and order tracking — and supported it for a period after launch. Uh La La launched on app and web. The project was delivered before 2019.

Uh La La had a business plan and no way yet to take an order.
The cost of staying as-is: an online grocer without a platform isn't online — it's a phone number with a delivery bike.
The full platform an online grocer runs on, built together so each part works with the others.
| Capability | What it gives you |
|---|---|
| Customer app (Android) | Customers order groceries from their phone. |
| Web store | The same shopping on the web. |
| Delivery slots | Customers choose when their order arrives. |
| Order tracking | Customers see where their order is. |
| Delivery / rider app | Riders receive their deliveries on an app. |
| Admin dashboard | The team manages products, orders and stock. |
| Support after launch | Acube supported the platform for a period after it went live. |
Uh La La didn't give us order numbers, so we are not quoting any. The outcome at launch:
Building everything together is the advantage a new business has. The customer's order on the app or web store, the delivery slot they choose, the rider who delivers it and the admin where the team manages it are all one order at different stages. Nothing has to be passed between separate tools.
Delivery slots and order tracking answer the two questions every grocery customer has — when will it come, and where is it now — without a phone call. And because Acube supported the platform after launch, the business had help while it found its feet. We have built grocery platforms for other start-ups — see BigBuket and Kera Cares — and 70% of our work comes by referral.
A platform like Uh La La's is worth considering when:
You're launching an online grocery or delivery business.
working together.
Customers should choose their delivery slot.
Customers want to track their order.
You'd like support while the business beds in.
If that's you, start with your catalogue and your delivery area. They shape most of the platform.
