We will be direct: most Wayanad businesses do not need RFID. A homestay or a small trader is better served by good stock records and barcodes. In a busy godown at Sulthan Bathery or Kalpetta, bags are stacked, shifted and dispatched all day, and the physical count drifts from the register. Tagged bags read at receipt, transfer and dispatch keep lot-wise stock accurate without stopping work to count.
Dairy and agro-processing units lose returnable crates and cans steadily along their routes. Tags on each unit, read at dispatch and return, show which route or outlet is holding them, turning a vague loss into a recoverable list.

An example
A coffee curing works near Sulthan Bathery has a bank inspector coming at eleven to verify the pledged stock. The storekeeper walks the stacks with a Zebra handheld, and the tagged bags answer as he passes; the count by lot appears on the screen within minutes rather than after a morning of shifting sacks. Two bags dispatched yesterday still show in the store, and the gate reader's log confirms they never left, so they are found behind a pallet. The inspector gets a printed report that matches the ERPNext stock ledger lot by lot. In the afternoon a lorry loads garbled pepper for Mysuru; the gate reader checks the tags against the sales order and stops the loading when a bag from the wrong grade goes up the ramp.

Often, yes, and we will say so. Barcodes are simpler and work well where items are scanned one at a time. RFID earns its place when you must read many items quickly, without handling each, or track returnable and high-value assets.
