Overnight rain has flooded the ground floor of a rubber goods unit at Thiruvarppu, and the power is off. The owner, standing in the car park in the morning, opens ERPNext on his phone and finds it exactly as it was, because the system runs in a managed cloud account rather than on the desktop now under water. The sales clerk works from home on her laptop and raises the day's invoices. The dispatch supervisor at the Nattakom depot prints e-way bills for a consignment that still has to leave. Our monitoring shows logins from new locations and nothing else unusual. When the unit reopens, nobody restores anything; the staff simply sit down at new machines and log in.
Migrations are planned from Kochi and carried out in stages: an inventory of what you run, a test move, a rehearsal, then a cut-over outside working hours.
