An annual count can stop dispatch for days. With tagged bales, pallets or cartons, a handheld reader sweeps an aisle in minutes while work continues, and differences are listed against the ERPNext balance straight away.
When a buyer questions a consignment, finding which purchase lots went into it means searching registers. A tag applied at receipt carries the lot through storage and dispatch, so the trail from grower or supplier to customer is on record.
Demo vehicles, tools, forklifts and returnable crates wander between sites. Tagged items passing a reader at the gate are logged automatically, and a search shows where each was last seen.
An example
At the inland container terminal in Nattakom an exporter's cartons of rubber mats arrive from the factory on a lorry. A fixed Zebra reader at the stuffing bay reads each pallet's tag as the forklift passes, and the packing list builds itself on the supervisor's screen. A pallet from a different order triggers an alert before it goes into the box. When stuffing ends, the count against the sales order is confirmed and the container's seal is recorded with the barge slot to Cochin. Back at the factory, a storekeeper with a handheld reader sweeps the finished-goods aisle during the tea break and posts the differences to ERPNext. The annual count that used to close the godown for days has become a weekly walk.

It can, with the right tags and placement. Dense rubber and latex absorb radio signals, so standard labels may read poorly. We test specialised tags and positions on your real stock during the pilot. If reliable reads cannot be achieved for an item, we say so and suggest barcode for that part.
No, but it helps. RFID data is most useful when it updates the stock system directly. We integrate natively with ERPNext and can connect to other software that offers an API. For Kottayam firms still on Tally, RFID is often the point at which a proper stock system is introduced.
