A Wednesday at a unit in the KINFRA park at Mundakkal. An order comes in for a grade the buyer wants from a particular origin. The storekeeper opens the pick list on a tablet and the system names the lot: not the nearest pallet, but the oldest one that matches the specification, with its receipt weight, moisture reading and shed location. He scans as he loads. Godown stock falls as the packing note is made, and the valuation follows it. The documentation clerk does not ring the shed to ask what is there, because she is looking at it.
