An example
A trader in Erattupetta opens the godown before the first jeep from the hills arrives. The storekeeper scans the barcode on each stack in the sheet section and enters the count; the system shows the lots that have lost weight since receipt and posts the moisture loss once the owner approves it. Pepper from last week's buying is moved from the drying yard to bulk storage as a stock transfer, so the two locations agree. When the jeep arrives, the purchase is entered by gross weight, deduction and net, with the grower's name and the day's rate. By afternoon a manufacturer's order for one grade is picked from the oldest lots first, and the stock report the owner reads in the evening matches what he can see from the door.
