Also serving Thodupuzha and Munnar
Goods travel in two directions in Idukki, spices going down and provisions coming up, and wholesalers on both routes give credit they struggle to keep track of.

Before dawn on a Wednesday a provisions distributor's godown in Thodupuzha is loading the van for the Nedumkandam route. The orders came in the previous day from the salesman's phone as he walked the shops, each entered at the scheme price with the shop's outstanding visible beside it; one shop over its credit limit was held until the owner cleared it by message. The system grouped the route's orders into a single load list, and the invoices and e-way bills print in route order. The driver stops at Adimali, then climbs to the high-range shops, collecting cheques he records on his phone against specific bills. By the time he is back the owner's ageing report already shows what the trip recovered.
Wholesale in Idukki has two streams. The outward stream is produce: dealers at the Thodupuzha spice market centre, in Kattappana, Vandanmedu, Kumily and Nedumkandam who collect cardamom, pepper, coffee and cocoa and sell to exporters and upcountry buyers. The inward stream is everything the high ranges consume but do not make: FMCG, provisions, hotel supplies, fertiliser and building material, distributed from Thodupuzha through Adimali to small shops and resorts up the hill.
Both live on credit and thin margins. Wholesale and distribution software on ERPNext manages purchase, stock across godowns, price lists and schemes, sales orders from the field, delivery routes, GST invoicing with e-way bills, customer credit limits and collections, and the accounts behind them. The owner sees who owes what, and for how long, without opening a ledger.

A retailer in a hill town has bought on credit for years and pays when he can. Without limits and ageing, exposure grows unseen. Customer-wise credit limits, an order hold when the limit is crossed and ageing reports give the owner a reasoned basis for saying yes or no.
A van sent up to Munnar or Nedumkandam half full barely pays for its diesel. Grouping orders by route and delivery day, and seeing the value loaded per trip, helps a distributor decide a sensible schedule and minimum order for each route.
Spice prices move daily, and a deal struck by phone in the morning is billed in the evening at whatever rate someone remembers. Recording the sales order at the agreed rate when the call ends removes that dispute and protects the margin.
Items, customers, price lists and opening outstanding are taken from your present software or registers and verified with you before go-live. Salesmen are given a mobile order screen and shown how to use it on their actual beat. Our consultants travel up from Kochi to Thodupuzha, Kattappana or wherever your godown is for the launch, and continue with remote support, particularly around month-end and GST filing.

Spice cultivation and trading
Dealer operations from purchase to dispatch: lot-wise stock, buyer-wise orders at agreed rates, brokerage, transport arrangements, e-way bills and tight follow-up of outstanding from buyers in other states.
Agro-processing
Distribution for local brands of tea, spice powders, coffee and snacks: distributor and retailer price lists, scheme and free-goods handling, secondary sales visibility and returns of near-expiry stock.
Resorts and homestays
Suppliers of provisions, linen, amenities and housekeeping material to hospitality properties get standing orders, property-wise pricing, consolidated monthly statements and delivery scheduling across scattered locations.
Yes. Orders are taken on a phone, with the customer's outstanding and credit status visible as the order is entered. Where coverage is missing, the salesman notes the order and enters it at the next point of signal; we keep the screen short so that this takes moments.
It can. The two lines can be run as separate companies or as divisions with their own item groups, price lists and godowns. Reports can be taken for each line or combined. Shared customers, such as a supermarket that buys both, appear as one account.
Each salesman sees the overdue bills of the customers on his route for that day. Receipts are recorded on the spot and adjusted against specific invoices. The owner gets an ageing summary by customer, route and salesman, and reminders can go out automatically before a bill falls due.
After a first conversation about your customers, price lists, warehouses and how orders are taken today, we agree the scope and send you a written quotation. The price, the deliverables and the timeline are fixed against that scope before any work starts, so nothing grows without your sign-off.
You speak to someone who does this work, not a call centre. They ask about how orders come in, how you price and how collections are followed up. If it looks like a fit, we agree the scope and put it in writing, with the timeline, before any work starts. If it does not, we tell you.
