The on-premises server has no spare, and nobody has ever tried restoring from the backup. We migrate to cloud infrastructure with scheduled backups kept in a separate location, run restore drills, and document how long recovery would take.
Owners travelling to Coimbatore or Kochi want to see figures, so someone opens a port or installs a remote desktop tool. That is how ransomware arrives. A cloud-hosted ERP is reached over encrypted connections with role-based access and two-factor login, without exposing the office network.

An example
On a Saturday evening a plastics unit in the Pudussery development area closes its ERP for the last time on the old server. Overnight the database is copied to the cloud environment prepared in Kochi, restored, and checked against the original. On Sunday the stores clerk and the accountant log in from home over the new address and try their usual screens; the weighbridge integration is tested from the gate. On Monday the owner, in Coimbatore for a customer meeting, opens the day's dispatches in a browser before the plant's first shift has finished. Nobody at the press notices anything but a faster screen.
Migration is planned from Kochi and carried out over a weekend or a quiet period you choose. Before that we visit your Palakkad site to look at the present server, the internet lines and how users connect, since a cloud system is only as good as the link to it. We usually recommend a second broadband line as a fallback. After cut-over, monitoring and support are continuous and remote.
