A full count of a large furniture or hardware godown can mean shutting for a day or more. With tagged items and a handheld reader, staff walk the aisles and the count reconciles against the system in a fraction of the time.

An example

In the afternoon a lorry is loaded for a builder near Cyberpark. The reader at the gate picks up every tagged bundle as the vehicle passes and compares them with the delivery note in ERPNext; one bundle is the wrong thickness and the lorry is stopped before it reaches the road. The supervisor swaps it, the note is confirmed, the e-way bill is raised. Nobody drives to the site to discover the mistake.
