Two kinds of design problem turn up in Kozhikode. The first belongs to the IT companies: a product that works but feels clumsy beside international competitors, because engineers designed the screens between sprints. The second belongs to traditional businesses going digital: an ordering app or billing screen used by people who have never been asked what they find confusing.
