Yes, and you would not be the first. Building correct bills of materials and routings is part of the project, done with your production and design staff, product family by product family. It is slow, valuable work. The plant usually learns a good deal about its own consumption norms along the way.
Not necessarily. Job cards can be updated by a supervisor, by operators on a simple touch screen, or by scanning a barcode on the route card. We choose the method per shop based on the people and the pace. The aim is accurate booking with the least disturbance to production.
Yes. A group with a unit in Kanjikode and another in a KINFRA park, or across the border in Coimbatore, can run each as a separate warehouse set, branch or company, with inter-unit transfers and consolidated reporting. Planning can be done per plant while finance sees the whole.
