Palakkad's owners collect plenty of data in ERP, Tally and machine logs but decide from instinct; dashboards put yield, rejection and margin in front of them daily.

Trusted by 200+ organisations across India & overseas — including

Ask the owner of a Kanjikode plant what last month's rejections were by customer, or a miller what each paddy variety yielded by supplier, and the honest answer is usually that someone can work it out by Friday. The data exists. It is scattered across an ERP, Tally, a production register, Excel sheets and sometimes a machine's own log. By the time it is assembled, the decision it should have informed has already been taken.
Business intelligence gathers those sources into dashboards and reports that refresh on their own. We build on ERPNext's reporting and on open-source BI tools: sales, margin, stock, production, quality, receivables and cash shown by the dimensions that matter to you, with drill-down to the transaction. Alerts go out when a figure crosses a limit. For Palakkad's manufacturers and processors, the first dashboard often earns its keep by exposing one product or customer that loses money.

A mill's profit is decided by out-turn, and out-turn varies with variety, moisture, supplier and machine setting. When it is calculated annually, nothing can be learned from it. A yield dashboard by lot and supplier, updated as milling is booked, shows which purchases were good and which suppliers to avoid.
Component makers record rejections diligently and analyse them rarely. A quality dashboard showing rejections by part, defect, machine, mould and shift turns the monthly review from opinion into evidence, and shows whether a corrective action actually worked.
A food processor with many products and pack sizes knows total profit but not which lines carry the rest. Combining sales, scheme costs, material and packing consumption and freight gives contribution by product, channel and region, and the range can be pruned with confidence.
Automobile components and rubber goods
Delivery performance against customer schedules, rejection and rework trends, mould and machine utilisation, and customer-wise profitability that includes premium freight and returns.
Rice milling and agro-processing
Out-turn by lot, variety and supplier, stock ageing by godown, price realisation by grade and market, by-product income, and cash tied up in paddy through the season.
FMCG and food processing
Primary and secondary sales by region and distributor, scheme spend against the sales it produced, production yield by recipe, and near-expiry stock across depots.
We start by asking the owner and managers which handful of numbers they would want on their phone each morning. Then we find where each number lives. A visit to your Palakkad premises settles definitions, since two departments rarely mean the same thing by sales or stock. Dashboards are built in Kochi and reviewed with you in short rounds. Managers are trained to filter and drill down themselves.

Yes, within limits. Tally data can be extracted on a schedule and combined with Excel and other sources in a BI tool. You will get sales, receivable and expense views. Operational measures such as yield or machine utilisation need the underlying data to be captured somewhere first, which is where an ERP helps.
We first use ERPNext's own reports, charts and dashboards, which cover a good deal. Where several data sources or heavier analysis are involved, we use open-source BI tools that carry no per-user licence fee. If you already own a BI licence, we can build on that instead.
Only if it is simple and trusted. We keep each dashboard to one screen, agree definitions in writing, and reconcile figures to the accounts before release. A scheduled summary by email or WhatsApp each morning keeps the numbers in front of busy owners in Palghat who will not log in daily.
