Ernakulam moves goods for a living. In yards and workshops, hours go in looking for a gauge, a chain block or a test kit that was issued to someone last month. Tagged assets are issued and returned against a name, and a reader sweep shows what is actually on the floor.

Yes, with the right tags. Metal surfaces and liquids affect ordinary labels, so we use on-metal and ruggedised tags where needed, which matters for marine stores and coastal warehouses. The site survey and pilot exist to prove the read rates before you commit.
Yes. As an Official ERPNext Partner we post RFID reads directly into ERPNext stock and asset records. For other ERP, POS or warehouse systems we integrate through their API or a file exchange. The aim is one stock figure, not a separate RFID database.
No, and we advise against it. Start where the pain is greatest: a high-value category, one warehouse or the tool crib. Once the pilot proves its worth there, tagging extends in stages. New stock can be tagged at receipt, so the backlog shrinks by itself.
