She stops travellers waiting for the Thiruvananthapuram train, hands them a phone, and asks them to book two nights for next month. She says nothing else and watches. Three people hesitate at the same place, where the season rate is not visible until a date is chosen. By afternoon the operator's manager has seen the recordings, the rate moves to the first screen, and the next round of tests is booked for the ferry jetty at Cutchery.
