Every ornament is checked against the register before the showroom shuts, tray by tray. With a tag on each piece, a reader sweep over the trays produces the count in minutes and names exactly which item is missing.
When cartons of different batches share a rack, pickers take the nearest one and expiry control breaks down. Tagged cartons let a handheld confirm the batch at picking and let a supervisor find a recalled batch quickly.

Metal does interfere with ordinary tags, so jewellery uses purpose-made tags attached by a loop or label that keeps the chip clear of the metal. We test read rates on your own trays during the pilot. If a category reads poorly, you know before scaling.
