Every ornament is checked against the register before the showroom shuts, tray by tray. With a tag on each piece, a reader sweep over the trays produces the count in minutes and names exactly which item is missing.
In a precision machine shop, expensive cutters, jigs and dies move between machines and are found by asking around. Tagged tooling read at each bay records where a die last was and who drew it.
Nurses in a busy hospital lose time hunting for an infusion pump or a wheelchair. Tagged equipment and readers at key doorways record the last seen location, which also settles the yearly asset verification.
An example
A jewellery showroom on the Punjagutta stretch closes its doors to customers at eight, and until this year the staff stayed another two hours matching every tray against the register. Tonight the floor manager walks the counters with a Zebra handheld, sweeps each tray, and watches the count climb on screen. One bangle set does not read. The system names it, the tray it belongs to, and the counter it was last seen at, and a sales assistant finds it in the approval bag of a customer who took pieces home to show her family. The count posts to ERPNext, the strongroom receives the trays, and the staff leave before nine.
An RFID project has a physical side that software work lacks, so the visit plan matters more here. Metal interferes with ordinary tags, so jewellery uses purpose-made tags attached by a loop or label that keeps the chip clear of the metal. We test read rates on your own trays during the pilot, so you know before scaling.
