More detail
Each course ends with an exam. The coordinator schedules it — suggested from the batch's own timetable, so that day's class makes way — and the trainer enters theory and practical marks. Totals and grades are worked out for you.
Students see results only after the coordinator publishes them. The results view shows submitted, passed, failed and the average, with the grade spread. Anyone below the pass mark gets a re-test linked to the original exam, and its result replaces the first one.
Programs that lead to an outside qualification track each student's journey with the awarding body. Outside exams — government, board and awarding-body — go on the calendar with their key dates, and students get reminders before each one.
Programs with practical work keep a logbook: a minimum of signed-off hours and a checklist of tasks. Students log what they did; their trainer, or a supervisor at the workplace, signs it off. A task can require a PPE check by the trainer before it is signed. The certificate waits until the logbook is complete.
| Rule | What it checks |
|---|---|
| Every course passed | Including re-tests |
| Attendance at or above the minimum | The percentage the trainers' registers built |
| No fees due | Read from the student's account |
| Logbook complete | Where the program has practical work |
The coordinator sees who is ready and who is not, and why. Signatories can be set for the institute, the program or the batch, and the certificate carries the overall grade.
Each certificate has a number and a QR code. An employer scans it and sees a live "Valid certificate" page with the student, program, batch, grade and date. A certificate that was never issued has no page to show.
Certificates leave by courier from the Dispatch app: labels printed with a barcode and a tracking QR, the courier and tracking number recorded, and the student told it is on its way, with a Track button.
By scanning its QR code, which opens a live verification page showing the certificate's details.
