The accountant opens a short exceptions list: a plating vendor has billed a rate above the order, a courier invoice has no matching receipt. She resolves both by mid-morning and the rest of the batch goes to the manager's approval queue on his phone. Meanwhile the IT executive's monitoring screen has grouped the night's alerts into one incident on a full disk, already tagged with the likely cause. By lunch the department is working on the month-end close instead of data entry.
